I compare the Zune HD and the 2nd gen iPod Touch… Other things I didn’t mention in the video: * You can delete songs ON the Zune HD (AWESOME) * Zune HD does not have a mic like the iPod does * The Zune HD has a week selection of apps at this time * Zune HD has no Copy, Cut, and Paste * Zune HD landscape keyboard doesn’t take up the whole screen (you might have seen this in the video). * Zune HD has a built in Bing search, the iPod has Google or Yahoo. * Zune HD cannot play YouTube videos (SUPER SAD FACE, FIX THIS MICROSOFT).

@TheMangaFace i agree with dna506, apple works as a monopoly, since thier the only ones that supply a certain product they can place any price they want on it and make a huge profit, a great example would be a mac computer, the parts are no different from a regular computer but the mac software is what everyones paying so much for. apple has a great amount of advertising too, if it weren’t for the touch none would like i tunes, which seems to have the most ammount of apple ads
@dahomiegang YMMV where I live I can’t get any of the HD radio stations that are in my area to play on my Zune HD, as far as “perfect” for mp3, no it’s not. It’s good but it’s interface is lacking in some key areas. I own both a Zune HD & a iPod Touch. I like the Touch far more, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the Zune. I’m playing with mine right now.

@kickapoo42 Zune is slower, because the mobile site loads text and embed, but ipod loads full pages(no flash) with jpgs and gifs and embed. -.-

i just got zune hd yestereday, i was impressed in like 5-10 min i learned how to use it completey, i reccomend u buy it if u want perfect mp3/mp4/wmv/wma player and it comes with clear hd radio, and a bunch of other stuff this alone beats the itouch, but i have to admit for the apps itouch still owns, but the rest goes to zune straight up

the zune still has better sound quality, and quicktime is a shit media player, i’m buying a zune for the music, i already have a DS, i don’t need an apple-branded one
zune HD is better for music and video, the ipod touch is better for everything the ipod wasn’t made for
if i learned anything from all of the portable devices i have ever used, internal speakers suck balls 99% of the time

I like that now you can load the desktop version in the zune’s web browser.

its not because you cannot actually hack a Zune or Ipod or PSP or ur cell phone…. you can do some fancy tricks with it like editing software or applying skins, but thats no hack.
