I Have Heard Some Horror Stories Of Over Heating, I Just Basically Want To Hear From People That Have Or Know A Lot About Laptops…
That’s exactly why I bought the 2.13 gHz Air two days ago. I only need it for super easy portability (pretty much Word only), as my 17″ MacBook Pro is just too heavy and too cumbersome to lug around that frequently.
I recommend it enthusiastically.
Well i am a geek. The air its it ok ok. I wouldn’t perfer it. I mean if you look at how skinny it is you probably no it is breakable very easy. It overheats pretty easily and has a bad battery life. It has not many ports and no cd insert. My opinion it is not worth it. You miss out on alot of things. The wi-fi is pretty bad. Not good memory. It only suites you if you only use it to surf the web that’s all. So dont get it. Get the mac pros or macbooks. I have had a macbook, then pro then imac and then the air i am very expeirenced with this stuff.
Imo, the mba is overpriced and not worth it. It’s the slowest mac available and it has extremely limited ports and doesn’t even have an optical drive. Sure it weighs 3lbs but you can buy a 13inch macbook pro that is 4.5lbs, which is still really light, thats a few hundred dollars cheaper and has much better specs and ports.
Don’t get the Macbook Air. its not worth it, so what they Weigh 2.2lbs, but if you drop it it will break very easy, not even from a very big height, and sometimes, but not a lot, they will overheat…
