Netflix Online Streaming Service?
I was wondering if anyone has experience with Netflix online video streaming lately. Most of the reviews I found online were from when it first launched. Has it improved at all? Is the selection large enough?
I am mainly concerned about the video quality and the selection. Are recent new releases available, or are they mostly older movies that aren’t as interesting?
Would the video quality hold up on a 42″ LCD, or would it become completely horrible? I use a DVI to HDMI cable to connect my PC to the TV.
I would go for the free trial and test it out, but I had one a while back and would have to try to get around that in order to get another.
I’ve used both Netflix and Blockbuster online and enjoyed both. However, here at school the mail is super slow for some reason and it takes nearly a week to receive a movie once shipped (usually next day when I am at my parents house). I like the idea of streaming video. Blockbuster worked great until they limited the in-store exchanges.
I dont have alot of problems with it…I think it depends on your internet service, how fast it is etc…
There quite a bit of a selection of movies to watch, tho MOST of them are older films.
The video quality has been fine when Ive watched movies on there. I have not found “new releases” on the instant watch list. Older movies can be interesting depending on what youre looking for…many times its hard to find older movie available at stores so this is an easier way to access them.
I have not tried watching any movies from the instant on my tv.
