These are the 2009 highlights by the New England Patriots 2 Time Pro bowler Wes Welker. He might lack size but you can always count on him to move the chains or make a run after the catch. He is the only receiver in NFL history to record at least 110 receptions in three consecutive seasons. In Week 16, Welker caught 13 passes, giving him 7 games with double digit receptions. This gave him the record for most double digit reception games in a single season, passing Marvin Harrison. He accomplished this despite missing two games earlier in the season. Wes Welker is without a doubt my favorite player. I see that scouts ignore people who are considered “too small” to play pro football or get sucked up in all the hype about what analysts say(who are wrong 60% of the time) and end up letting a yards after the catch/punt return guru like Wes Welker fly under the radar to go 7 rounds without being picked and have 346 receptions in 3 years now thats a great football player

@MegaPaco44 Wes Welker should be back withing the first few weeks though. And i agree with Joakimbrian. The patriots can only get better and we cant expect the players of the dynasty to be ther forever. Give some confidence in the new players coming in

@MegaPaco44 welker will be coming back maybe @ week 8 or sumthin, or even later but he will play this year. The defense can only get better, with Mayo and spikes in the middle, imagine that! TE aaron hernandez can play a slot WR, we got tate, price, holt, edelman, moss. Darius butler & patrick chung keeps getting better. Gronkowski is a steal, and will be catching alotta passes. We will have leadership on the D now that wilfork got signed. so it wont take a long time
patriots are not gonna be the best this year wes welker injured for the hole season then by the time he comes back moss will be as old as brett farve patriots had their chance and they blew it its gonna be a long time before they win another super bowl
Wes Welker is a very slow receiver he can’t break a long play unless he breaks a couple of tackles which he is good at. If he was faster he would score every time he touched the ball. Oh well, at least NE has him.
