Dire Straits were a British rock band, formed by Mark Knopfler (vocals and lead guitar), his younger brother David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and vocals), and Pick Withers (drums and percussion), and managed by Ed Bicknell, active between 1977 and 1995. Although the band was formed in an era when punk rock was at the forefront, Dire Straits played a more conventional style, albeit with a stripped-down sound that appealed to audiences weary of the overproduced stadium rock of the 1970s. In their early days, Mark and David requested that pub owners turn down their sound so that patrons could converse while the band played, an indication of their unassuming demeanor. Well I’ve seen my favorite saga Star Wars, about 10-15 times. Anyway I thought this Hoax was going to be about something else that had to do with Back To The Future but this is just weird. Well I’m going to see all three movies because they’re the best trilogy ever.

What are you going to do on BTTF Day?
Yes, I’ve seen my favorite movie, The Lion King, probably over a hundred times. I saw it in the theater 6 times, I went both times it opened, I probably watched it every day when I was little, I saw the musical 3 times, and I saw it in the IMAX once. I haven’t watched it recently though.
I had heard about the hoax, but since I’m not a big fan of the movie I didn’t really care that much. I did think it was kind of cool though because I like time travel. Too bad it was wrong.
Yeah, I had actually heard about it after it was revealed as a hoax, but even if I hadn’t been told it was fake, I’ll always remember the date to be 2015 because that’s the year after I graduate. I probably might have been confused for about a minute, then I would’ve remembered the actual year and deem it as “bull”.
They better have self-tying shoes in the future or I’m hurting someone.
at 2:04 you say “never once do you see a straight on shot of the time circuits with nothing else in the frame”. After watching the 1st movie last night I noticed that there is actually one very clear straight on shot of the time circuits the first time you see them. Every other shot of the time circuits after that there IS something in the way but there is definitely a clear shot of them for a couple of seconds…. uh, nevermind looks like about a hundred other people have said the same thing.

im only 15 and ive seen the movie at least 50 times each movie no joke, ever since i first saw it when i was five i watch it like every month or so I LOVE IT!!!!!!
